As for them being the "national" carrier, thats a complete joke. Foreign airlines offer a massively better service both Customer Service and on their flights. BA are the only scheduled airline that charges agents 51p per minute to call them and then they keep you on hold forever or can`t answer the question and worse of all, half of the calls are due to the airline cancelling flights themselves or adding vague remarks to the bookings and forcing agents to call them to rectify/clarify the situation..at 51pence per minute!!
