This competition has been created to provide young amateur musicians with the opportunity to perform in public. It also gives them a highly motivating goal in their work and a chance to have the level of their Musical Art skills evaluated.

This competition is also designed to draw attention to the exemplary work and devotion of music teachers.

We have designed this competition as an effective way to finally forge a link between the music-loving public and the best Belgian composers.

Kaufmann & Co have not established their reputation in record time : they have been developing their craftsmanship since the beginning of the 18th century. The concept of superior quality, which has been their motto for more than a century, has made their name.

Whenever they organize concerts, most of the national and international professionals call on Kaufmann for material and services. Centres for Culture, ministries, recording studios, music schools, academies of music, professional musicians as well as a multitude of music lovers know the way to this Mecca for harpsichord and piano in Belgium .
