I came here to study omeprazole interactions with tylenol Manalapan, N.J.: A young white couple was attacked in Brooklyn for beeping their horn at a gang of teenagers crossing against the light, wherein they then proceeded to pummel the car and then attacked the man when he opened the door to check on the damage (“Young punks attack,” Oct. 20). His wife was called a “whore” and he was called a “cracker,” yet only one of the teenagers is being charged with a bias crime. The wife was dragged out of the car by a 12-year-old girl, who proceeded to slam her head into the pavement. This was not front-page news? But a young black man is on the cover for being “Busted at Barneys for being Black” (Oct. 23). I guess I’ll make it a point not to drive around my old neighborhood while I’m in Brooklyn. It’s a sad world we live in. Maybe next time these youth should ask themselves “what if” it was their parents in the car and a group of white kids did this. Maybe they would think twice, then. |
