It lies in a beautiful part of the region that used to be known as Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, close to the border with Afghanistan. This is a part of the world that I have known since childhood – Pakistan was home to my parents before they came to the UK and we would frequently travel there on holiday, especially on fishing trips to the mountainous north. |
