Right after the initial invasion, someone from the Independence Institute suggested dividing Iraq into three regions which would have given each of the major populations their own Government. Instead the largest population, the Shi’ites, maintain power over the others and obviously they do not see eye to eye. Democracy is always unfair to the minority and why certain things should not be decided politically. |
